Buck's Cabin is an ideal retreat for quietly experiencing the beauty of southwest Wisconsin. With a private porch that overlooks the pasture and creek, it’s an ideal place to relax and watch the sunset! Inside you will find a queen bed, table and chairs, and a furnished kitchenette and bath. Buck’s Cabin is a favorite for trout fishermen, but it is also a neat little spot for a couple’s get away. Guests that choose Buck’s Cabin have their own yard and fire pit to enjoy. They are also welcome to stroll the long driveway and wander along the creek. We live on a quiet rural road that’s a favorite for walking. I prefer to meet our guests upon arrival to answer any questions they may have. After that, I am available if anything comes up, but generally allow them to enjoy their holiday without interference. Our cabins are located on a functioning family farm. We primarily grow organic corn, beans, and wheat. We also have around 45 ewes, and depending on the time of year, may have a good group of lambs at the farm also. Our horse, Harley, is pastured close by Buck's Cabin. Our newest venture is growing baby chicks for area layer farms. These birds lay organic cage free eggs. We have a rural setting, remote enough to be quiet, but not too far from the city of La Crosse, WI, and several small towns. The driveway is shared with our farm and other cabins.
