Small bathroom with shower (no tub). Large living room/kitchen combination. Full disclosure: -- The ceiling in the guest suite is low: 6 feet 6 inches. -- There might be a small amount of noise coming from upstairs where I live. -- No television or dishwasher. Private entrance. Peaceful, fully landscaped back yard with patio table, umbrella and chairs. Great for eating outdoors. Wi-Fi. Washer/dryer. Your own parking space in my driveway. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, toaster, tea kettle and coffee maker. You'll have complimentary tea, coffee, half-and-half, and a pitcher of cold filtered water. Rockridge is on the Oakland/Berkeley border. My house is two blocks from College Ave., which has dozens of restaurants and cafes, two bookstores, hair salons, gift shops, Trader Joe's supermarket. You're a 5-minute walk from Market Hall -- a great food emporium with a bakery, coffee house, gourmet deli, wine shop, produce market, fish market, meat market and florist. You're two blocks from the BART train that takes you to San Francisco in 22 minutes or downtown Oakland in 8 minutes; and a bus that takes you directly to the U.C. Berkeley campus in 10 minutes.
