THE CELLAR OF GANDIL

In the heart of the medieval valley, not far from the most remarkable sites of the Dordogne, come and discover the many castles as well as the most renowned sites of Prehistory. Close to Beynac and Castelnaud, I welcome you for a stay in the countryside, on a property of 16,000 m2, in a charming, welcoming and bright house. The space Former wine cellar, this family and independent house, with a heated pool (open May to September), sleeps 6. On the ground floor, a kitchen open to a large living room is ideal for friendly meals. A traditional fireplace, which can be used in winter, brings a warm character to this space. The upper floor consists of three spacious double bedrooms, one equipped with a bathroom and the other two each equipped with their own shower room. Outside, a large shaded terrace offers a panorama overlooking the property. This is where you can enjoy the beautiful Périgord evenings, around the barbecue or the plancha. At other times you can share games of petanque, Babington, ping-pong and darts. Bordered by stone walls, hedges and other palisades, the wooded garden ensures moments of relaxation tinged with sweetness, calm and tranquility. The play areas, meanwhile, will delight young and old, for moments to share. The heated pool slightly away from the house is an intimate place. Its guardian, the century-old walnut tree, offers a little freshness at certain times of the day. Further north, its counterpart the linden tree, imposes its protection on the place, while the fig tree welcomes you at the entrance of the property. It should be noted that my professional office and my accommodation are next to the cottage, which allows me to be discreetly present to feed the animals (dog, cats, chickens and horses) and to answer any questions you may have.
