Hidden and gated in the lush and historic acequia community of Talpa, 5 miles south of the Taos Plaza, is the Wonderful Life Casa. One bedroom, one large bath and open living/kitchen area. Large yard is fully fenced and pet friendly. Your own privately fenced yard is within the 3/4 acre. Wifi, smart tv, air conditioning and natural gas heat for comfortable living. Your private getaway just 5 miles south of Taos, serene and secluded for your privacy. Towels, linens, pots & pans, utensils and all. The space Very Pet friendly (please inquire about fees), your privately fenced yard is about 40x50 feet and gated. You have a patio table with 4 chairs and umbrella. Propane bbq. Nectarine tree and lilac bushes. Enter the shared yard first and park by your private yard to the left. Enter through your wooden gate to the right, then the blue front door into the open concept living/dining/kitchen area. From here, you can also see down the short hall with the bedroom, laundry and bathroom. Find everything you need in the kitchen. Pots, pans, drip coffee and cappuccino maker. Side by side frig, gas stove. Double white sink, blender, items for baking, small crock pot. Living area has Roku tv. Sign in to your apps for all your faves. Big plants make you feel at home. Artwork done mostly by my family throughout the home. Wifi is excellent, fast for streaming. Work desk and chair looking out at the foothills. Second work table/chair available. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed. Assorted types of pillows and a chest at the foot of the bed full of other blanket options. More plants! Bedside table with lamp and outlets and lots of dresser and closet space. The bathroom, across from the bedroom is spacious. Tub/shower with plenty of towels and extra bath accessories under sink and in closet. Full length mirror in hallway is a magic mirror! Laundry is also across from the bedroom and between bath and kitchen. Stackable washer/dryer, laundry det, dryer sheets, bleach supplied. Drying rack. This is where the hot water tank is too. Heating is controlled by thermostat in bath, to the right of the mirror. There is a wall unit that has natural gas heat. I do stay/rent next door, in the garage but sound does not travel much. An exterior wall separates us. Your privacy is the most important to me. Only 25 minutes from Sipapu Ski Resort and 40 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. Forest Road access less than 2 miles away. 5 forest roads within 12 miles of your home. Taos plaza is 5 miles away. Taos Pueblo is 7 miles from here. Watch the sunset and the mountain view out your bedroom window. Alpine glow and full moon rise out the living room and kitchen windows. Guest access You will have full and private access to the one bedroom, one bath, kitchen, laundry and outdoor privately fenced space. It's all yours! Other things to note If you book a month or more, you’ll receive 20% off! I have a dog, Nellie. She is very sweet and gets along with all humans and animals. She may bark for a second but then remains quiet. I bring her most everywhere I go on adventures around Taos and beyond. There may be other friendly dogs in the shared yard but your gated area is always private. 1 have 2 cats on the property that mind their own selves and wander about. They are very used to running from dogs :) I have chickens and fresh eggs whenever you’d like. The road leading to the Casa is gravel but grated often. Totally fine when it snows. Larger RV's will definitely have to check with me before booking. I can accommodate a 21’ vehicle without trouble. Arrangements can be made for longer vehicles.
