Each unit has a separate entrance through the main foyer area. There is no interior connection between the two units. The sunroom, outdoor space and downstairs laundry are shared by the two guests of the duplex. Please keep in mind that the sunroom and outdoor patio area is only used in warm weather, and if your stay does not require you to do laundry there is no need to go downstairs. Most guests use only the individual units and never use the shared areas - the choice is up to you.
