Welcome to JEM's Duende Mary Jane Suite: a 2 Bedroom delight within an eclectic home! Enjoy this colorful retreat and explore our full size Treehouse. A reverie created with salvaged wood from old mansions, luxurious bedding, and curated antiques. This urban sanctuary is located next to an old dairy, a horse pasture, and marsh trails with sunrises and sunsets that never end. Within 3 miles from Savannah's historic district, Forsyth Park, restaurants and more. *READ FULL LISTING* The space The living area, sunroom, & kitchen are shared spaces where you can unwind, sip tea/coffee, and relax. Go outside to explore the patio or roast s'mores on the fire pit! The true essence of this property is the raw natural beauty withheld since the 1950's. I have taken my own artistic approach with the space and it's the perfect oasis that feels like a home away from home. It's truly a museum within itself of various "jems" new and old. Our large scale treehouse is an added bonus to hang out in, have fun, read a book and just soak in the beauty and tranquility during your stay! This is TWO out of THREE bedrooms offered in my home. You may be sharing the house with other guests who may have booked the other rooms. Only common areas may be shared. You'll have 2 rooms; 1 room has a very comfortable queen bed. The other room, has a daybed is (twin size) is a room and features your private bathroom. If you have a 3rd person, the room will be an extra $20 a night. The main room has its own smart TV so if you have any streaming accounts, then you are ready to watch while in bed! THE TREEHOUSE, is a separate communal space for all guests to enjoy. When booking this room, the treehouse is not for your private use, it is shared if the third room is booked. Our patio and property grounds is an extension of this ambiance. Make sure to view the treehouse in the photos, it's like no other. During your stay I love to meet my guests upon their arrival and do the quick run through if needed. I want to respect your time and space. I'll always stay in touch prior to arrival and I live less than a mile away so I let all my guests know, if they need ANYTHING, I am here anytime of day or night, and if I am out of town, I have back up. Please note that you may see myself or my assistants maintaining the outside property and tending to Mars. :) Other things to note Prince Mars the mini-horse lives on site. You can feed him the provided carrots and apples only. Please DO NOT OVERFEED the mini horse, he could get very sick. The dairy next door is where you may visit the horses shown in my pictures. I do not own the horses - please do not feed them. The horses are located to the far left of the trail at the dairy. Don't forget to check out Bonaventure Cemetery and book a ghost tour. Tons of fun! Savannah's historic downtown, Forsyth Park, Starland district is just 3 miles away. Tybee Island Beach is a beautiful 20 minute drive, for you to bask the sun. You will have a wonderful time here...so much to see and do, and lots of amenities to enjoy! JEM’S Duende is the perfect getaway that’s close enough to the historic district but also a peaceful oasis.
