Delightful two bedroom luxe eco pod with hot tub

A converted shipping container with luxury finishes and amazing views. This four sleeper unit has two equally beautiful en-suite bedrooms paired with panoramic views of the Theewaterskloof while enjoying the wood-fired hot tub, it is the perfect getaway just 1.5 hours from Cape Town. The space Converted shipping containers provide the base for our beautiful pods. This is one of two units on the property, about 300m apart. This unit has two equal en suite bedrooms with queen extra length beds and a generous living space and outdoor entertainment area with hot tub, deck and built in braai. It is an eco pod and therefore a solar system with batteries and gas appliances provide electricity. Guest access Guests have their own private space and wood fired hot tub. Access to the pods is up a well maintained jeep track just off the main road between Villiersdorp and the Theewaterskloof bridge. We do not recommend a very low profile vehicle traversing the road but have seen VW polos for example go up just fine, so a 4x4 is not needed, just a bit of ground clearance and a careful driver. Other things to note The road up to the Pod is a dirt road and a higher rise vehicle is recommended. Many small cars have gone up just fine, but chat to us beforehand if you are uncertain. We can also assist you with a lift up if needs be. It is run with a solar system so completely off the grid. Please don’t use any appliances that are not provided as you run the risk of depleting the power in the battery and you will be left without electricity until the sun can charge it up again.
