It is located in the quiet village of Psathogiannos, just 20 minutes by car from Platanias and Chania, combining peaceful surroundings with easy access to beaches, tavernas, and local attractions. The house consists of two independent apartments with separate entrances, which can be rented together or individually, making it ideal for guests who want both shared space and privacy. The ground floor apartment is designed as an open-plan space with a double bed and a sofa suitable for one guest, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a separate wardrobe room for added convenience. The upper apartment, accessible via an external staircase, features a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, a wardrobe area, and a bright living and dining space. The kitchen on this level is small and functional, equipped with basic essentials (mini fridge, sink), and opens to a private balcony where guests can enjoy the calm atmosphere. The outdoor areas are spacious and welcoming, including a large courtyard and garden with a dining area, sun loungers, and BBQ facilities, ideal for relaxing or spending time with family and friends. The house offers all essential amenities such as WiFi, Smart TV on the upper floor, washing machine, solar water heating, espresso and filter coffee machines, kettle, and small kitchen appliances. Please note that there is no dishwasher or microwave. Due to the location in a quiet and more remote area, having a car is strongly recommended in order to fully enjoy the region. Other things to note The village of Psathogiannos is located just a breath away from the cosmopolitan tourist center of Platanias. It offers a peaceful, traditional village atmosphere while keeping you close to the fun and attractions nearby. You can visit Chania town within 20 minutes by car and enjoy the view of the Venetian port and the old city, or have lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants facing the famous lighthouse.
