Ocean View Two Bedrooms at Rio Del Mar Beach

Bring the family and friends to a Mediterranean resort style hillside home with a theater room and scenic ocean & shore views when reserving a 2 bedroom suite & 1 full bathroom (Hosted Rental Permit #241003). A separate entrance is down the stairs, through a gated backyard, which has a hot tub, fire pit, and BBQ with shore views of Rio Del Mar beach. Request portable twin beds if needed for the 5th and 6th guest. A fun property for families, couples, & friends. The space The property is located on a hillside overlooking the ocean and Rio Del Mar beach in Aptos. Ask for a tour. A must see during the day and evening. Guests must be able to go up and down stairs. Hand railings are next to the stairs and motion detector lights go on at night to clearly see the paths with stairs. Flashlights are provided however, if your cell phone has a flashlight on it, please use it when needed at night. Walk carefully on the stairs and steep driveway during the day and at night. The house was built in 2006 with a Mediterranean style flare with lots of windows and archways to see the gorgeous view of the ocean and sunsets from many windows, balconies, and patios that face the ocean. It’s a 3 minute drive to Rio Del Mar beach or a 10-12 minute walk downhill. Walking uphill is more strenuous. I highly recommend driving to the beach where there is lots of free parking plus a restaurant called Venus, a coffee and pastry shop called Venus pie trap, a convenience store, plus Pixie deli. If you choose to walk downhill to the beach, turn left at Aptos Beach Drive from Shoreview Drive, then make an immediate right on Martin Drive, and a right on Rio Del Mar Blvd. The walk is less steep using Martin Drive than taking a right on Aptos Beach Drive and walking straight downhill to the beach. We have gorgeous sunsets year round at the property or at the many local beaches. It’s a peaceful slice of Paradise living near the ocean. This property is located in a great Aptos location in Santa Cruz County. Guest access Guests have access to parking on premises near the 3 car garage or if available, and depending on the size of your car, inside 1 of the 3 car garages. The electric vehicle charger is located outside, near the garage door on the right. There is also a full house back up generator for times when PG&E shuts off power during storms or black out days. Guests also have access downstairs to the gated backyard that faces the ocean. That’s where the hot tub is located and the separate entrance to your private suites. There is a propane Bbq for cooking in the backyard near the hot tub plus a propane fire pit and propane outdoor heater. Other things to note Please be careful when walking up and down the stairs. Use the flashlight provided to you in the suite if you go out at night, after dark. If you have a flashlight on your cell phone, that comes in handy when it is dark outside. Around the property are sensor lights to light up the pathways completely around the main house. There are also solar lights on the stairs to light up the stairs at night. Please make sure to walk slowly and carefully on the stairs and use the handrails during the day and at night.
