Ola’s Room is in honor of my Texan Grandmother. She loved colors of the western sunset, and they are included in the decor. Bright raspberry, with other pinks and blue make a happy space with natural light from seven windows. There is a private four piece bath, streaming T. V. comfortable chair for reading, and hardwood floors. Environmentally friendly plants in the 27x18 space add to better air quality and sense of peace. Watch the deer, birds, and other Virginia wildlife from you window. The space You are welcome in any room with an opened door. Library , kitchen, living room, den, and an amazing front porch near the Appomattox River for morning coffee. Central air for cooling in summers and high ceilings add to your comfort. Three propane fireplaces are a cozy factor for winter. There is ample seating on the sunny back deck or the breezy front porch. Coffee and pickup breakfast foods are provided. Guest access Make yourself at home. Your room, the kitchen, front porch, den, library, and living room are opened to you. You are welcome to cook your own food, and load the dishwasher. During your stay Available by phone or text, I am onsite most of the time. An emergency number is provided in my absence. I enjoy meeting my guest, and you are welcomed to enjoy a cup of tea or you may want to disappear into another space to read, rest, or indulge in the experience of your time away. You are never expected to keep company, but allow me to help you make the most of your Five Smooth Stones stay. Other things to note The drive way up to the house is gravel, and about 1/2 mile from the mailbox. Park in space away from garage doors. Use sidewalk to come to front door. Enter through the front door. There is no entrance at the garage for guests. An entry code will be sent to you before you check in. Your room is up the stairs at the doorway.
