Relax with the whole family at this peaceful retreat in the woods. A private 4-bedroom, cabin-like escape with plenty of space to spread out. Only a mile from the entrance to Ludington State Park and Lake Michigan views. Walkable access to small inlet lake nearby perfect for fishing and wading, as well as state park walking trails, Hamlin Lake boating and more. Just over two miles to the beaches and activities of downtown Ludington. The space If a private cabin in the woods sounds enjoyable "The Gathering Place" is the spot for you. Bring your seasonal outdoor sports equipment and enjoy the hiking, biking, fishing, boating, swimming, skiing, hunting, and ice fishing that are all within a short distance from the house. We offer a large 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom, two-story home, perfect for family and friend gatherings, with only a short drive to the desirable Hamlin Lake area. Multiple outdoor areas including a fire pit, sitting area and large deck. Two separate living areas, coffee bar, with large kitchen fully supplied with all your cooking needs. Basic spices and condiments provided. We provide all bedding and bathroom linens freshly laundered for all beds, bath and kitchen towels. During the warmer months, we recommend bringing your own beach towels, to enjoy the fantastic beaches that the area provides. For the warmer days, there are ceiling fans in each bedroom and living areas. The shade and breeze off the lake typically cools the home fine, but we have added an in-room AC unit in both the upstairs living room and downstairs family room. For the winter months we have in-home heat with separate thermostats for up and downstairs, and plenty of blankets to bundle up. We strive to provide our guests with an exceptional experience and do our best to accommodate requests. We have a local host that is available to assist if needed. In reviewing our calendar, if your dates do not appear available or you have questions, please contact me to discuss. We do make exceptions for shorter stays during our off season (peak season June 1- Labor Day). Minimum Age Limit for Renters: We are not able to rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Unfortunately, our HOA prohibits pets on the property outside of service animals. Guest access Complete access to the home, with the exception of the locked owner's closet off the downstairs family suite. Other things to note We will provide enough paper products, dish and laundry detergent to get you going. If more is needed you will need to purchase. Local township rules are enforced. Any fines incurred by renters due to non-compliance with noise and occupancy restrictions are fully payable by renter.
