Clean, bright updated townhome 5 minutes from Mueller area. Enjoy the comfort of a primary bedroom during your Austin stay. This newly renovated home is the perfect place to telework or kick up your heels after a long day of live music, eating barbecue, or taking a dip in one of the many swimming holes. There is wifi, 2 work desks with monitors, public parking, 24hour access, beverages/snacks, fully stocked kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room, washer/drier, patio, tennis and 2 living rooms. The space The guest suite is the size of a master (500sqft) with attached bathroom, desk, and TV lounge area. It gets great light during the day with views of the magnolia trees and lawn outside. The downstairs spaces (1000sqft) offer everything a visitor would need, including two living rooms, a spacious kitchen, a dining table and breakfast bar, a washer/dryer, a half bath as well as fenced outdoor back patio. This is our home when we are in Texas and is stocked as such. Guests have access to everything except our bar! There is exercise equipment, books to borrow, baking pans, wine glasses, pool towels, air fryer, laundry drying rack, hair drier, and other things you might need on a long stay. The property is 20 minutes from ABIA (airport), 10 minutes from UT campus, 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes to the Domain, and 5 minutes from the Travis Cty Expo center (where park-n-ride to F-1 racetrack, Circuit of the Americas is). You will have the whole 1,500 sqft space to yourself (unless potential guests agree *ahead* of booking to share the space, for example, during a 6-month stay). There is only one guest room we rent out (our bedroom is locked), but we reserve the right to be on the property, especially for emergencies like any potential plumbing or HVAC issues. There is access to a community pool and tennis court. Guest access First floor (1,000sqft) kitchen, den, parlor, dining room, laundry, powder room, and enclosed back patio. Second floor guest suite (500sqft). Public parking available outside the front door. (Owner's suite is kept locked.) Use of pool and tennis courts upon request. Other things to note This is not an investment property. It is our *home* and is cozy as such and stocked with blankets kitchen supplies, pantry items, toiletries, books, exercise props, tennis racquets (for the community tennis court you have access to), etc. which guests are welcome to use. We love it when guests treat it as their home away from home. Cats used to live here in case anyone is highly allergic. We do not allow other pets. You'll most likely (98% chance) have the house to yourself as we only list it while we're away from Austin. We would only need to be there for an emergency. It can only be rented by one guest at a time, so there will never be other Airbnb guests staying in the same house. Note that in the past we have negotiated a discount with students and/or waived cleaning fees if they tidy/clean themselves; guests who ask for this cannot expect the property to be as perfect as full-price guests would find it. We have only once received a cleanliness complaint from a full-price guest and have changed cleaning service since then. Guests can receive packages from major couriers like UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon, or grocery delivery (we recommend HEB) but do not have access to USPS delivery. The house was a water softening system. we ask that guests drip the outdoor faucets if the temperature goes below 32F to prevent freezing/broken pipes.
