Description
We have revived the unique character of this old house, built in 1864. The floors aren't level - some of them creak - but the details are lovely, and generous light fills the rooms. In keeping with our other rentals -- we are pet friendly. Our daughter is a College of Wooster alum and that's what brought us to Ohio - she stayed. I named the house in memory of my mother, who never set foot in Ohio but always believed buckeyes are lucky. We feel lucky to have found it; hope you do too. The space This is a cozy place on a one-way street. We've found it to be quiet here. Parking is in the back and the easiest access into the house is through the back door. Not shown in our initial photos is a game room directly off the kitchen which includes a table and chairs and many board games and puzzles, along with a keyboard for those who like to make music. There is also a small but complete bathroom downstairs off the back entry/laundry area. It has a stall shower and toilet, and the sink is in the wood-paneled laundry area. If you are bringing a dog, please let me know. A reasonable pet fee will be assessed. Guest access Guests have use of the entire house, which is more than 2000 sq. feet of space. Other things to note We have a tartan folder with information about little details and questions about the house. The television has instructions inside that folder. The "live TV" is through YouTube TV.
