Sunsets & Serendipity

We have a beautifully finished lower level room in our Post & Beam home located in Dunbarton, NH. Our property has breathtaking westerly views that consistently provide amazing sunsets! Guests can relax on our large porch or near the fire pit to take in the fresh air! Our property is ideal for the couple who wants a private getaway and is planning some day trips in New England. We are approximately 60 miles from Boston & Hampton Beach and just a couple of hours from the White Mountains. The space A private entrance brings you to our well furnished room which includes a: queen bed, love seat, pub table w/2 stools, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and TV (just local channels) and Blue-Ray player. It is fully carpeted with lots of of New England charm. The private, attached full bath has a tub/shower, toilet and small vanity. There is a flight of stairs leading down to the room from the outside entrance. Guest access Guests are permitted to use back deck and the fire pit area. We ask that you inform us prior to using them. Other things to note Airbnb will charge you the mandatory NH Room Tax (Occupancy tax) of 9% upon checkout. That tax amount will be remitted by Airbnb to the State of NH. The house has three separate living spaces. When looking at the house from the front, the space to the right is listed as "Cozy Country" and is an in-law apartment where my mother lives 6 months out of the year. The space to the left (the largest space) is listed as "Home on the Hill" and is available for long term stays. The space in the middle is where my wife and I live. All spaces are separate with private entrances. Additionally, there is a basement room listed as "Sunsets & Serendipity" and is below the space where we live. The campsite on the property is listed as "Country Camping" and is available year-round. We allow our campsite guests to bring pets, so there could be pets on the property during your stay. They are required to be on a leash at all times. We do not allow pets in our home. All supplies that we provide are "starters" and are not intended to last your entire stay (although they might). When they run out, you are responsible for getting more if you need them. We will not provide additional "starter" supplies when they run out. Examples of "starter" supplies may include but are not limited to the following: coffee, creamer, sugar, spices, cooking ingredients, cleaning supplies, paper products, plastic wear, bottled water, other beverages, and food. Thank you for your understanding. It is important for guests to stay within my property lines and not go on my neighbor's property. Rock walls border my property on 3 sides and a split rail fence on the 4th side. Please ask us if it is unclear. We have two, single person, 9.5' kayaks available to borrow at no cost. Paddles and life jackets included. You need to have a way to transport them.
