Honu Hideaway is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo in Ocean Walk Condominiums. Honu Hideaway overlooks the nature preserve and is a 4 minute walk to the white sands of New Smyrna Beach. The condo is fully stocked with everything your family will need including beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys! We added new quartz kitchen counter tops in 2019. Additionally, the guest room has a new queen memory foam mattress and a new pillow top twin bed. You will love this beautiful, relaxing condo! Oceanwalk has everything you need from fitness facilities, two large pools and hot tubs, tennis courts, a movie theatre, and club house. Honu Hideway is a short 4 minute walk to a white sandy no drive beach. When guests are ready to leave the resort and explore New Smyrna Beach, guests will find many restaurant options for any palate and budget, For a day trip, Orlando and the Disney Parks are about an 80 minute drive. Why spend a fortune staying at the Disney Parks, when you can get the best of both worlds - Disney by day, beach by morning and evening! The famous Daytona Beach is about 20 miles north along with MOAS--a child friendly museum--is about a 25 minute drive. Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center is about 70 miles south. I will send that several days before your arrival. My family loves New Smyrna Beach because it is quiet and not as touristy as other beaches in Florida. We love how close it is to Disney, the Kennedy Space Center, and Daytona Beach. During the "off season," there are times where we feel like we have the whole beach to ourselves. If you want to get away from it all, but still have options to get out on day excursions, this is the place for you! COVID19 note - In order to comply with CDC cleaning guidelines, all beds now have white duvets that are laundered/bleached between guests. Bedding may be different than what is pictured. Our family often finds affordable flights into Orlando and Sanford on both Frontier and Allegiant. Allegiant flies into the smaller Sanford airport and it's about a 50 minute drive to the condo. Frontier flies into Orlando International, and it's about an hour drive to the condo. We've also flown Delta into Daytona Beach, which is about a 30 minute drive to the condo. We've found we can get the best deals on both flights and rental cars when we fly on Allegiant into Sanford. Once in New Smyrna, our favorite place to walk is on the beach! Our condo also has a beautiful nature trail. There are also sidewalks and bike lanes if you want to walk, run, or bike on Atlantic Ave.
