The home is just under 1,100 square feet with two bedrooms & one full bathroom on the south side of the home & the main bedroom and main bathroom on the north side. In between the bedrooms are the laundry room, kitchen and living area. Bandon Bear Cottage is located only 1 mile south of Bandon city limits and 1 mile east of the beautiful Oregon Coast. We offer a fine mix of privacy, while still being able to access all that Bandon and the surrounding towns have to offer. Bandon offers a variety of fishing opportunities whether you are interested in Coho or Chinook Salmon, Halibut, rock fish, catching your own Dungeness or Red Rock crab or even clamming in the mud flats. If you enjoy golfing, our home is located just a few minutes from the world-famous Bandon Dunes Golf Resort & Bandon Crossings Golf Course. Bandon also offers a variety of highly rated restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques & specialty shops. About Bandon Bear Cottage: The living room features two couches and a flat-screen television. Although our home doesn't have satellite/cable television, we do offer Netflix, Roku & DVD player and a collection of DVDs. We also offer a library of books, puzzles, board games and children's toys. The kitchen features a 4-burner stove, oven, adequate counter space, dining room table and is fully stocked for a simple dinner for two or an extravagant family feast. The master bedroom features a California King for your comfort, walk-in closet, black-out curtains, bench and a large dresser. Guest bedroom #1 features a cozy Queen size bed, dresser, black-out curtains and a closet. Guest bedroom #2 is brightly colored and features two twin beds & a children's book nook. Currently, we are a dog-friendly rental. We allow up to TWO medium sized dogs with fee. Please clean up after your dog(s). NO CATS! Guest access Guests are welcome to use both patios. The patio in the front of the home is perfect for watching the sunrise with a nice cup of coffee. The large “L-shaped” patio on the southern and western side of the home offers a fine mix of privacy and serenity. Enjoy a nice glass of wine while basking in the setting sun and breathing in the crisp coastal air. The 1.5 acre property is lined with beautiful trees, bushes and plants, but is not fenced in. I am stating this fact for anyone with young children or dogs that might not be too obedient. Friendly Reminders & House Rules added to the description as of 07/2020 due to a few issues with guests: These are a list of our simple rules. We don't require much (or even more than a hotel would ask). We do ask that you respect our place. Some of these "rules" might seem silly, but they are listed below because a concern was created at some point during the last 7 years of business. Check in: 4:00 p.m. NO early check-ins unless pre-approved. Check out: 11:00 a.m. unless late check-out is pre-approved. -NO smoking inside the house. -NO parties or loud music -NO boisterous activity past 9 p.m. Although we only have a few neighbors nearby, we like to respect them as they have respected us and our rental. -NO standing on patio furniture. This is for your safety. ***-NO authorized guests without owner's consent. *** If you book for 5 adults and constantly have 10 people on the property, you are breaking the rules and are subject to removal without a refund. Communication is key. -If you are traveling with children, it is your responsibility to supervise them. You are solely responsible for their health & safety. -Do not pick the roses. Allow future guests to enjoy them as well. -Please be courteous of the amount of trash you produce; waste management services only pick up the trash 2x monthly.
