Glamping in Beautiful Jemez Mtns. Short distance to Jemez Springs Village, Ponderosa Winery and Hot Springs. 19-acres w/amazing views. Pictures cannot do justice! Relax in a beautifully decorated 14/16ft canvas tent stocked with comforts from home. 2 Queen beds, quality linens, hardwood floors & comfortable décor make this glamping feel like a real vacation! Hiking/Fishing/Tunnels/Ruins. We have four tents available for rent, rent more than one for groups or large families. The space We have spectacular views, Mountains, red rocks to explore, hiking, close to the river, sunsets, sunrises, 15 minutes to Jemez Springs Village - Restaurants, stores and Hot Springs are all open, some hiking trails are also open. Do Not hesitate to come, lots of fun, beautiful things to do. We have WIFI for phone calls or text messages but it is not strong enough at the tents for gaming or streaming. Summer months are hot during the day but absolutely beautiful in the morning and evenings. Plan to head to the river or exploring during the high heat hours of the day. One Propane heater / propane provided for chilly nights offered in the Spring and Fall. Please note, the propane heater will take the edge off for sleeping but does not heat the tent like a house, please make sure to bring what you need to be comfortable in cooler weather. Mid Oct thru March Beautifully decorated 14ft/16ft canvas tent (Blue Thunderbird) stocked with most of the comforts from home. Comfortable king size bed, quality linens and soft pillows make this camping experience like no other. Even if you thought you hated camping, this will change your mind!! We allow two dogs under certain circumstances. Must be people and animal friendly. We have dogs on the property. No aggressive dogs of any breed, no cats please. Dogs must be kept on lease and never left alone in the tent or camp. Sleeps up to 3 adults. Or 2 adults and 2 kids. Fully equipment to cook and serve a family meal. Propane BBQ, coffee percolator, pots & pans, running water, dishes to serve four. Just pack a bag, bring a cooler with your favorite eats and drinks and you are set. Private in-tent camp toilet and sink, Currently we have no shower to offer but we are only a short drive from the Jemez Springs Hot Pools with showers and the Jemez Bath House. *Fall or early Spring Glamping is great but please keep in mind it is cold in those months, we provide extra blankets and one propane heater Mid November thru April for warming up the tent at night but please keep in mind that the heater just takes the edge off but doesn't heat the tent like a house or solid structure, but does keep it comfortable for sleeping. Guest access Location, Location, Close to all activities in the Jemez Valley, Ponderosa Winery, Hot Springs, Walatowa Vistor Center, Gilman Tunnels, Soda Dam, Jemez Falls, Fenton Lake are all a short distance away. We have WIFI for phone calls or text messages but it is not strong enough at the tents for gaming or streaming. - Getting to the tent location requires driving on a short uphill rocky bumpy driveway, therefore you will need an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle and be somewhat comfortable with light off-road driving. A 2-wheel drive truck would also be fine, just no small cars or low to ground vehicles. – This is an off-grid experience, we hope that being somewhat disconnected reconnects you with mother nature. The tent is equipped with solar / battery lights but has no electricity, any devices you may want to bring will need to be charged by your own vehicle. Cell phone reception is sporadic depending on your carrier, Verizon will get 1 to 2 bars in certain areas of the property. A couple mins drive to the Red Rock gas station you can get full cell signal. Incase of emergency we do have WIFI / Cell Signal at the Host Station very near by. - We love and welcome families, but please for safety reasons, all young children must be supervised and may not roam the property without an adult. - We have beautiful nature walks / hikes right from the property and access to the National Forest, but due to safety and property lines please consult with us as to which direction to go. Other things to note - Easy access from the airport, We are approximately 50 miles, 55 mins from the Albuquerque International airport and 1 hour 1/2 to Los Alamos. Perfect for couples get away, Family adventure trips, Girls night away. The river is walking distance, perfect for fishing, cooling off or just reading a book while you listen to the river flow by. A few suggestions of things you may want to bring depending on your length of stay. * Cooler and Ice for your food and drink, your favorite coffee and condiments. Fire Wood if you plan to enjoy long night fires. A good flashlight if you enjoy night walks, the tent is equipped with solar lights but if you wish to venture out at night please bring a flashlight. Bring warmer clothes /sleepwear for Fall and Spring Glamping.
