Charming Carriage House next to Edison Ford Estate

Wake up overlooking the gardens of the historic Edison Ford Estates before strolling into Art Deco Downtown Fort Myers for breakfast or an evening cocktail. This charming carriage house backs directly onto the famous Edison Ford Estates offering a peaceful, walkable setting full of Old Florida charm. Downtown's restaurants, bars and shops are a 20-minute walk away, or hop on the free trolley (Nov–May). The Caloosahatchee river just 3 blocks away SWF International Airport is 17 miles away. The space The guesthouse is in the grounds of our home at the end of the drive above the garage. It is a fully private place with a shared garden. The views from the guesthouse are of our garden and the gardens of Edison Ford Estate (partial parking lot view from bedroom but it’s not an eyesore) Brand new TV with ROKU. Fast WI-FI. Simple room decor with plenty of natural light flooding in due to the many windows in main living space. A small kitchen to prep and cook meals. Queen bed with en-suite bathroom. Guest access You will have use of the properties drive to park your vehicle. The entrance to your space is up the steps that run the outside of the garage. Myself or my husband will provide you the key on arrival. The outdoor space is shared with us. 12 steps lead up to your quarters so have to be comfortable with stairs. Steps all brand new with new bannisters. You will have access to a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the garage. Garage entry code given on request. Other things to note Extra bedding under the bed. Extra towels in top bedroom drawer. Happy to provide any extras you may need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You will be sharing the property grounds with children.
