The Hummer House is located near West Glacier Village in a quiet wooded setting on a 1/2 acre lot, with mountain views, steps away from rafting and fly fishing in the Middle Fork of the Flathead River, a 5 minute walk to Glacier View Golf Course, and one mile from Glacier National Park. The Hummer House has 2 bedrooms (the master bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom) and the second bedroom has one double bed and one single bed. There is a second full bathroom in the hallway. The Hummer House will make a wonderful basecamp for your visit to Glacier National Park and the nearby attractions in Whitefish, Kalispell or across the border in Waterton, Alberta, Canada. Avoid Highway 2 traffic, road construction and get an early morning start on your adventures into the Park. Horseback riding, guided wilderness trips, and rafting adventures are within two miles of the Hummer House. At the end of a long day, come home, relax on the backyard Patio with your favorite beverage, grill a special meal and watch for the Alpen Glow at sunset off the Belton Hills and Desert Mountain. The kitchen has dishes, glasses, silverware, pans, toaster, microwave, stove, and refrigerator. Enjoy the views of the Belton Hills from the living room and dining room. Outside there is a patio, comfy chairs, picnic table, and a small barbecue grill. Welcome to Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley. Our family has spent summers and winters here in this location for the past 50 years. We have vacationed here, some of us worked in the Park, and now we have built homes here. We all have enjoyed the Park's hiking, backpacking, rafting, horseback riding and the beauty of the mountains and wildlife.
