This classic country villino ("little villa") has been in our family for 45 years and is the source of magical memories. It's laid out like a classic Roman villa in miniature, with a courtyard and glass doors that overlook the lake (plus, from June 1-Sept 30, a private pool!) This is not one of those hotel-like vacation rentals, but like staying at your friend's well loved getaway. There is a 30% discount because the house needs a few more renovations, but it's comfortable and ready for you! The space The center of the house is the big living room, with a dining area at one end, a sitting area on the other, and a spacious common area in between. There are two bedrooms; one larger and set up with a queen mattress, the other smaller and with two twin mattresses. Both of the bedrooms have sleeping platforms, and all of the mattresses are brand new and were crafted by a local artisanal mattress manufacturer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The smaller bedroom is separated from the kitchen by a curtain; the larger one has a door that closes. There is a full kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Outside you will find a patio with a pergola overgrown with vines and a dining set, as well as several lounge chairs--and of course the pool! Guest access You will have the entire house, pool, and garden, to yourself. No one else shares the space.
