Come enjoy full use of this lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home just minutes away from historic downtown 3rd street! You'll find plenty of amenities throughout the home including stylish furnishings, vineyard themed art and mural, jacuzzi tub, ping pong table, and walking trails straight out the gate of the back yard. Enough room for the whole family with plenty to keep everyone entertained. If you have any questions regarding certification or cleaning requirements, or if you have any special requests please inquire. We are dedicated to helping you feel relaxed, but most importantly we are committed to your health and safety during your stay-cation. ---------------- Welcome to your haven for a relaxing Oregon wine country vacation. Our vacation home includes room for up to 8 guests. We’re less than a mile from town with tasting rooms where you can enjoy world-class Pinot Noir wines. Bon Appetit and Sunset Magazines have named McMinnville as one of the best small towns in America for foodies. There are a plethora of beautiful vineyards within a short drive from the house. We often have coupons available for complimentary tastings. Our charming and comfortable vacation home features a master suite with a king sized bed, large jetted soaker tub, marble dual head walk-in shower, electric fireplace, and attached dressing room with cedar closet and full length mirror. The second bedroom is private with 2 beds 1 queen and 1 full, a closet and easy access to the second bathroom & hallway access to the dressing room. The third is a private room with a trundle that can also sleep 4 people. If you're looking to relax and unwind, you’ve found the right place. The house is peaceful, especially the front garden with it’s babbling stream, water lily pond, wildflowers and cascading grape vines. It’s easy to relax sitting out on the front patio with a glass of wine or cup of coffee in hand while listing to the water flowing into the pond and fountain. The covered patio in back is equally enjoyable. We invite you the use our gas grill for a cookout, and gather around the outdoor fireplace. The culdesac is quiet and comfortable, you may see some hummingbirds or the occasional family of deer that wander through the yards on the way back to the forested area a block away. Our home backs to a walking trail that will lead you through the neighborhoods out to second street for an easy trip to downtown, or go the opposite direction through the neighborhood to Linfield College. Inside there’s also plenty of space for your group to stretch out and relax or gather together and make use of the games we provide in our game cabinet — or head out to the garage for a ping pong or darts tournament. You'll find the home to be tastefully decorated with a beautiful vineyard mural and watercolor paintings of local Oregon vineyards throughout - all of the paintings are done by the most amazing artist of all time (my dad!). His work also hangs at several of the vineyards, as well as RJ Studios and NW Food & Gifts in downtown McMinnville. If you'd like a piece of art as a memento of your trip to Oregon wine country, prints are available for purchase online by going to Etsy and searching for Tim Gault vineyards. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there’s an herb garden along the right side of the house that you’re welcome to make use of. Coffee and tea are provided. Feel free to use the washer & dryer as needed - our casa is your casa for the duration of your stay! You can login to our wifi and use our Netflix account to get comfy and unwind after a day of fun in town or touring wine country. If you're traveling with little ones, the home is near parks, walking paths, a playground, a cool toy store, and even the public library — perfect for entertaining the kids. There are plenty of shops and grocery stores nearby for your convenience. Plan a day trip to the Wings and Waves waterpark (check their website for availability during Covid-19) for some family fun, or get lunch and ice cream on 3rd St. Round out the day by taking the kids to one of the many parks nearby, or hang out at the house where you can enjoy the backyard, cook a meal, and unwind. You have access to the entire house, yard and gardens. There’s ping pong and a dart board in the garage, plus a corn hole game for the backyard. Feel free to use the washer and dryer, too. We welcome you to reach out to us during your stay with any questions or for recommendations or directions - We will be available via call or text to make your stay as seamless as possible. There are walking paths in the neighborhood that make easy connections to multiple parks (our favorite is Discovery Meadows Community Park) as well as an easy jaunt to downtown. A couple recommendations for dinner are Nick's Italian Cafe (the smoked mussels are to die for), La Rambla (wonderful paella) and Crescent Cafe for a farm fresh breakfast with delicious pancakes and homemade bread. You can’t go wrong with the local vineyards, but Stoller is one of our favorites due to its expansive outdoor patio, pretty view, tire swing, good food, friendly service and fine wines. Take the walking path thru the backyard to get to parks or to venture down 2nd street past the library to get downtown on 3rd. There are plenty of coffee, dining, tasting rooms, parks, and art galleries within 1 mile. Coupons for free wine tastings at Stoller and Domaine de Broglie are provided. We're thrilled to provide these coupons, but cannot be responsible for winery policies. We highly recommend calling or checking winery websites for details and for setting up reservations. McMinnville is famous for the International Pinot Noir Celebration held every summer. The nostalgic downtown provides art galleries, boutique shops, coffee, dessert and even a haunted hotel with a UFO themed rooftop bar (inspired by famous UFO photos taken at a nearby farm in 1950). Many of the award-winning restaurants are passionate about using the freshest farm-to-table ingredients possible. Linfield College is only 1 mile away from the house.
