The Red house sits on a private lot. Step back in time when you enter this retro cabin. The Red House is close to the Bristol Speedway, a 20 minute drive from the oldest town in Tennessee, JonesbouroughTn ,where you can come for the storytelling weekend, or other Festivals around the area. Just a little over an hour drive to Beech Mountain. And other activities in the area. there is a boat ramp 3 or 4 miles from the property where you can unload a boat, kayaks, or fish from the boat ramp. The space The Red house is a older small house/ cabin with a lot of the original style. but very comfortable, just not new. suitable for 4 people, has one bath. one bedroom with a queen bed and a pull out futon sofa that is a full size. neighbors are close but very quiet. There is no water access at this time,No animals allowed because of allergies. Guest access There is a big covered area for cooking out and playing darts.Or just sitting and enjoying the Quiet. Other things to note because it is a lake cabin and has been there since the late sixties the water heater is a 20 gallon which is under the floor which was the only placed to put it at the time the house was built .so long showers could result in cool shower.I have not ran enough hot water to know what the recovery time is just wanted you to be aware and thoughtful of this issue when you're taking a shower not to be alarmed if you run low on hot water it is a brand new water heater but again had to replace what was there as far as size and nowhere else to put it .I hope this does not cause any inconvenience, but some things are just out of my control. also, I have heard some guests have trouble finding the property, I think thru GPS. that will take you pass the property to the dead end. so try putting in 829, which is the driveway right before mine. as shown In my pictures there is a sign of a house saying the Red House with the house number on the post. this will be on the left .
