Villa Cortevecchia (Superhost) is a 700 yr-old Tuscan Farm House renovated w/ western standards. Rustic & modern comfort! Top of a gorgeous, panoramic hill, pool, A/C, huge garden. Directly off Chianti Strada .5 min walk to Le Corti Winery. 17 min to Florence, Piazza Mich. Perfect Location! Stunning! *always “super hosts” in past but stopped renting for a few yrs so we lost that status but see all reviews! ❤️We replaced white sofas as they were 13 yrs old. added more furniture outside! Upgrades! The space This house is a 700 year old part of a farmhouse. We bought it 12 years ago. It took us 8 yrs to renovate. We renovated it w/ a traditional Tuscan flare, many antiques and Tuscan materials. kept the feel minimal, clean, fresh and modern. It is very clean and easy to live in. Absolutely beautiful! Huge glass windows throughout the house. Incredible natural light & views to the garden and vineyards from all the windows. It is considered a 2-bedroom home but it is actually 3 bedrooms. The 2nd room is built as if it were 2 bedrooms but we did NOT separate it yet. So it sleeps 4 people in that one bedroom easily. In this “2nd bedroom” there is a master bed, a bunk bed with a twin bed over a full bed. This room has 2 bathrooms.. again, because it was meant to be 2 small bedrooms. We did not separate it because our children liked it open. I ask every guest after their stay and everyone said to keep it as one large bedroom so we left it open. Let me know if this is confusing or if you need more info regarding the setup. The master bedroom has an enormous bed and separate bathroom etc. There are three bathrooms in the house. Although it is considered a two bedroom it is best for a family of five or six. Children love to be in the larger room with the bunk beds! The master bedroom is elegant, large for Italian standards and has a full master bath inside the room. The house is small enough to be cozy yet big enough to feel spacious..very elegant, very authentic, 700 years old, and most importantly has the best view in all of Tuscany. I think I mentioned that you are walking distance to the town (San Casciano Val di Pesa) although I would take a car. It is very close if you need any help or assistance or want to get groceries. It is a three minute drive. But yet you're still in the Tuscan hills. There are many houses that are far in the hills and hard to get to the city. Although they may be beautiful, we loved our house because it is close to town to get ice cream, go for dinner, get help, go get your local groceries, go work out in the local gym, or just go to the post offie etc.. Honestly, the greatest part about this house is the atmosphere, the feel of really being in the middle of the Tuscan hills with vineyards and olive Orchards everywhere. You can walk to one of the most authentic wineries in 3 mins and fill your wicker jugs with organic wine that comes directly from the grapes in front of our house! There are horse stables nearby where you can rent horses. Our favorite thing to do is just grab wine and walk to the Tuscan Hills for hours! Guests used in the past and we had major damage as they did not know how to use it. It’s a normal fireplace but if you want to use it, we need to show you personally how to use it.There is heating and really no need for it to heat house. The cantina is in the basement accessible from the kitchen. There is a marble countertop with sink and washer & dryer underneath. It can also be used for storage space. There are extra long wooden 200-year-old table situated outside on the patio underneath the Pergolatta too. We have tables throughout the garden. There are areas to sit, read, sleep in the shade, enjoy the Tuscan Sun, paints, take long walks up and down the hill directly from your home. It doesn't get any better than this. 7 day min. ( Sat-Sat) In high summer months of Mid May- September. We will rent less than 7 days 3 months before if not already rented. We have always taken our cleaning seriously but under the current environment of Covid, we are taking extra precautions to make sure the house is sanitized and extra clean for your stay… Here are a few of the things we are doing… -We Clean and sanitize all common areas between every stay -Provide a no contact check-in -Cap the guest count to allow for social distancing and comply with local guidelines -Limit areas guest can access -Wear protective gear in common areas -When safe to do so, ventilate common areas during the stay -we have antibacterial soap in every bathroom and anywhere there is a sink. -we leave cleaning supplies available for the guests in case they need to use anything during their stay. It will all be provided by us. Other things to note This house is located 12 kms to Florence. It is the second Tuscan City outside of Florence. San Casciano Val di Pesa is very quaint. You are approximately 20 minutes walking distance to the local town but in the first Hills from the city..on top of a beautiful hill with gorgeous panoramic vineyard/Olive tree views. One of the most beautiful views in Tuscany. There is a winery, go Villa within a five minute walk from our house. Horse back riding through the hills is offered right on this hill! Experienced entire Tuscany right from your local, but comfortable home. This house is a 700-year-old farmhouse! It has been renovated into a home just 9 years ago. It has been renovated with all the highest quality. There is an amazing air-conditioning system, alarm system, it is gated, it has an enormous private garden. It also has a saltwater pool that overlooks the panoramic view. While you're swimming, you can look into the rolling hills of Tuscany with vineyards and grapes 2 feet away! Everything happens right here in the heart of Tuscany! If you come during crush or during the Olive picking, the local winery here can show you how it's done. Everything is right here and you are 18 minutes driving to Florence. From here you can visit towns within 30 minutes in all directions. It is the perfect location and the most comfortable house with all the amenities you love!
