Escape from the busy city life and come visit our little ‘Cedar Shack’ oasis situated minutes from Wimberley and San Marcos. Enjoy the fresh air, float the San Marcos river, visit the local wineries, take a splash in one of the spring-fed swimming holes, check out any one of the unique shops and lovely restaurants, and soak in all the beauty that the Texas Hill Country has to offer. We are now offering a hot tub feature since our stock tank pool has the ability to heat! The space The Cedar Shack (Guest House) has an open concept with a queen size bed, beautiful 'mini' claw foot bathtub, Roku TV, WiFi, kitchen stocked with dishes and utensils, cookware, two burner electric cooktop, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The cozy porch is perfect for watching the local wildlife while you have your morning coffee or evening beverage. Off the porch, you will find a cute outdoor area with a privacy wall separating the guest house from the main house. Privately tucked away is the stock tank pool to cool off while enjoying the hot summer nights. During the colder months, the stock tank pool has been converted into a hot tub!! Complimentary robes are available to be used after relaxing in the stock tank. There are a couple of cozy hand-made chairs lit by landscaping lights. **Please note that the privacy wall is not completely enclosed and shouldn’t be interpreted as a fenced-in privacy fence for dogs. We encourage you to bring your furry friends but ask that you keep them on a leash while on the property or going for a walk around the neighborhood. Wrap up your day with a soak in the beautiful 'mini' cast iron clawfoot bathtub with a nice glass of wine or sitting on the front porch enjoying the stars and sounds of nature. Guest access Guests have full access to the Cedar Shack. An *unenclosed* private fence patio area provides privacy from the main house coupled with the natural privacy provided by the trees and overgrowth between the main home and the guest house.
