The fully equipped kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher and two-burner cooktop. Oregonian-blend coffee and organic teas are provided. The beds, linens and dining/kitchenware are all brand new this season. There are no stairs inside the guesthouse and only one step outside. Parking is off-street directly in front of your walkway. Our location in Ashland's Skidmore Historic District is a quiet tree-lined neighborhood adjacent to the Plaza spectacular Lithia Park and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theatres. Unlike many other "walkable" locations in Ashland, there are no steep hills or busy streets between this property and downtown Ashland. It truly is a pleasant, flat 15-minute walk to town and the theaters. We even stroll home after the plays at 11 p.m. If you choose to drive, it is just a 5-minute drive to downtown and the OSF parking. Alternately, bike lanes take you all the way to downtown via Main Street, or simply ride the walking route through the quiet neighborhood.
