The Cottage, Byfield
The Cottage, Byfield
Description
Gorgeous ironstone cottage with space for two couples or a family, perfect for weekend getaways, overnight stops or week-long holidays. Also suitable for working professionals contracted locally. Located in the rural village of Byfield on the Northamptonshire/ Oxfordshire/ Warwickshire border with endless things to do and see. The Cottage at The Old Haberdashery is located within walking distance of a shop, post office, beautiful park/cricket pavillion, pub and a good choice of scenic walks. The space Downstairs, the cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, with tea, coffee and milk provided. The sitting room has TV, DVDs and books to enjoy. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs. Please note, The Cottage is an old, listed building and so has some quirks. Whilst it is suitable for small babies, it may not be suitable for toddlers as the stairs are steep and ungated. Guest access Please let us know if you are likely to arrive after 7pm and we will make sure there is a light left on. You will have full and exclusive access to the cottage, which is self-contained and detached. The cottage is opposite our house and we do use the courtyard and garden so unfortunately unless we are away there is no garden/ outdoor space that can be used. There is plenty of on-street parking outside the cottage on Banbury Lane. Other things to note Breakfast hampers can be provided on request, along with other supplies. We ask for at least 48 hours notice for this. Get in touch if you would like to discuss longer-term stays or regular Monday-Friday for contractors etc.
