Enjoy wonderful views of the Ennerdale fells, extending to Pillar and Steeple. The spacious, comfortable accommodation forms the main section of a larger semi-detached property. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied. The space We have closed off some of the rooms in our house, leaving the best parts for guests. The closed off rooms will not be occupied by us or anyone else. The entrance porch and hallway lead to the spacious open plan kitchen/dining/lounge/sunroom, utility room and downstairs toilet. Upstairs the landing leads to the bedroom (kingsize bed), adjacent to the fully equipped bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Private parking. Guest access Ground floor (not wheelchair accessible), with exclusive use of: entrance porch, hallway leading to open plan kitchen, dining area and seating area with 4.8 metre wide patio doors giving a beautiful Lakeland view. There's a 32" Smart TV (so you can sign in to your own Netflix , Amazon Prime Video or YouTube account), a Manhattan PVR, and a sound system with TV sound, Bluetooth connectivity, DAB and FM radio, and CD player. The utility room contains the gas combi boiler, sink, cupboards, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, and freezer (2 drawers available for guests). There's a downstairs WC with small washbasin. On the first floor, you will have exclusive use of: landing, double bedroom with king size bed, and view to the hills. Full bathroom with bath, walk in shower (39cm/15.5 inch entrance), wash basin and WC. The house has a short steep drive with parking close to the front door. There will be a car parked on part of the drive (it will not be used during your stay) Other things to note Cellphone reception, with 4g, is fairly good on the EE network - not so good on others, including Vodafone. Make sure you have access to the House Manual which Airbnb will supply with the check in information, and the wi-fi code, before you arrive. Information about local walks is included in the House Manual. The entrance to the walk-in shower is quite narrow (approx. 41cm - 16 inches).
