Rocky Oaks is located right on Hwy.60 tucked under east Algonquin Park, surrounded by outdoor beauty. Our traditional home is a comfortable inviting place, decorated with primitive antiques & Canadian art, windows filled with nature. Cozy bedrooms, bath for your party. With a kitchen that inspires, outdoor bbq, stone firepit & large country yard. Rocky Oaks is close enough to walk to town, drive to Algonquin Park for a day trip, beaches, hikes & shopping, close to snow mobile/ATV trails. The space Our kitchen is fully equipped for use by guests. We offer a stocked breakfast station for you. Help yourself to morning coffee/tea and feel free to prepare breakfast when you are ready. There is also room in the fridge & a cupboard for personal food items. Our home has many gathering spots. Sitting room with a wood fireplace. Breakfast nook. Dining room. Internet. Puzzels, colouring sheets, old movies & records for entertainment. Smoking area in the backyard with a seasonal sun/bug shelter. Our property is surrounded by rocks, trees, great for strolling, sitting, meditating. The stone fire pit has lots of seating to gather. During your stay Barry and Carol will greet our guests. We enjoy meeting & sharing stories. If you are travelling as a group or prefer we will respect your privacy. Other things to note ****Please note. At times we are away at our off grid/ off line/ out of range cabin. It may take 2 or 3 days before we can answer. We make every effort to be ready for your stay on short notice.
