Haven at the Heads

Haven at the Heads is a beautifully furnished house. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 full bathrooms, study/office, laundry, indoor and outdoor dining and a sun-drenched garden. The house is best suited for families (i.e. 2 couples with children), maximum 4 adults. We are located just a 10 minute walk to Seven Mile Beach, the river, the local pub and Bangalay Dining, and 5 minutes to the bowling club, golf club and local shops. Beautiful Berry is a short 10 minute drive away. The space The house is best suited for families (i.e. 2 couples with children) rather than all adults. Although the house sleeps 8 people, the maximum number of adults the property can comfortably accomodate is 4. BEDROOMS The main bedroom has a super comfy king size bed and the 2nd bedroom has an equally comfy queen size bed. The third (kids) room has bunk beds with a trundle and an oversized armchair (sofa bed) perfect for bedtime snuggles & stories. The bookshelf holds toys, books, dolls & dinosaurs. LIVING/DINING The main living room has a large comfy sofa....be quick and "bags" the recliner before anyone else does! The large oak dining table seats eight and is ideal for dinner & drinks at the end of a fun day. The woodburner is there to keep our guests warm during the colder months (from May to September). The family room provides a second living area, ideal for the kids. Both living rooms have smart TVs with access to Netflix, ABC iView and digital TV channels. KITCHEN Fully equipped kitchen for those days when you want to stay in and cook for friends & family. New kitchen supplies, including a pod coffee machine. The kitchen is stocked with the basics for cooking. The family dining area is ideal for breakfast time, informal dining and kids creativity - pens, pencils and paper all supplied! BATHROOM 1 (RETRO) We love our retro bathroom, comfortable & functional with shower & a bath for the kids or for a relaxing bath with an ipad and glass of vino! BATHROOM 2 (MODERN) We could not be happier with the June 2023 conversion of our laundry into a full bathroom (vanity, shower and toilet). OFFICE NOOK No one should have to work when on holiday but as part of the laundry conversion we have created a private office space just in case! LAUNDRY Laundry with washing machine and dryer. PATIO Outdoor undercover dining with BBQ, perfect for a lazy afternoon enjoying the sunshine or rain! GARDEN Lots of space for the kids to run around, have fun & let their imaginations go wild!
