The space The Harvey Mountain Lodge is surrounded by forest and very private. The first floor offers a master bedroom and a common area that also acts as a bedroom, a laundry and a full bathroom. It is at ground level so accessible to people in wheel chairs. The second floor is accessible via 2 steps. It offers the master bedroom with a full ensuite bathroom, a second full bathroom and a great room with a field stone fire place with a wood stove, a living room, a large flat screen TV, desk/work space, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is an elevated deck off the great room that overlooks a very picturesque, babbling brook. There is also a one car garage with a dumbwaiter that makes hauling groceries upstairs easier! There are hiking trails on the property which connect with the Harvey Mountain State Forest and the peak of Harvey Mountain which is the highest peak in Columbia County. The brook is perfect for creek walking and leads to a small, magical waterfall. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and garage. Other things to note We have a generator if the power goes out. We provide cleaning and garbage removal once a week for long term guests for $150.
