Modern industrial guesthouse Ballard/Phinney Ridge
Description
The Phinn-alley Guesthouse is in the Whittier heights neighborhood, b/w Phinney Ridge and Ballard. It is a perfect accommodation for a comfortable modern PNW - neighborhood retreat. This wood filled guesthouse has a hand crafted modern feel. Newly built, with simple high quality finishes inside and out, it has a feel of understated elegance. The shared stone patio separates the guesthouse from our home and garden, and is a lovely spot for morning coffee or happy hour cocktails. The space Set back on the alley, there is parking just outside the private entrance. The main living space is equipped with a large flat screen smart TV, Bose radio and a cozy sectional sofa that splits into two twin beds for additional sleeping. There is a full size range and oven with microwave and a under-counter refrigerator (with very small freezer). There is also a toaster, coffee maker and mini dishwasher for convenience. The bathroom w/ custom tiled shower is on the main level just off the kitchen, behind a sliding barn door. There is a tiny bathroom sink, but large kitchen sink is nearby. Upstairs there is a comfortable king sized Westin Heavenly mattress bed in a bright, light-filled loft with roof & tree top views of the neighborhood. It also has a full sized closet and ceiling fan. Note: it is a bright loft and not dark for light sensitive sleepers, new eye masks are provided. Guest access Guests have access to the patio, shared lawn and front garden. When available, guests are welcome to help themselves to anything ripe for harvest in the front vegetable garden & from fruit trees in the landscape. Other things to note We do have a dog- Australian Shepherd standard poodle mix named Sugi. She's a big friendly girl, despite her bark, and has her own space separate of the guest house. She will be kept away during your stay. We do our best to reduce, reuse, and recycle and hope that our guests will help us in our efforts to be environmentally conscious. Recycling, garbage, and food waste/compostables are collected separately. Please take note of the proper receptacles for each. Registration Details STR-OPLI-19-001061
