Just a short walk from downtown, Middlebury College campus, athletic fields and Porter Hospital, the location couldn’t be more convenient. You’re close to cafés, local shops, ski areas, and scenic hiking trails. Each room reflects a life of global adventure, with thoughtful touches and unique details that make your stay feel extra special.. The space The home comfortably accommodates up to nine guests across four bedrooms: first floor master with en-suite, upstairs bedroom with a queen bed, upstairs bedroom with a queen and twin, and one upstairs bedroom with a full-size bed. Fresh linens are provided. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook or bake to your heart’s content! Other kitchen essentials: coffee maker, air fryer, toaster, microwave, oven, stovetop, etc. First floor washer and dryer located off the kitchen. Seasonal spaces add to the charm: the front porch is perfect for relaxing on a sunny afternoon, and the back deck is a favorite spot for breakfast. In the cooler months, gather around the backyard firepit and enjoy crisp Vermont evenings under the stars. This is a warm, welcoming space to relax and recharge, in any season! Guest access Guests have access to the entire home: the kitchen, living and dining areas, main floor master with en-suite, three upstairs bedrooms, two full bathrooms, the front porch, back deck, and spacious backyard with firepit. You'll have full privacy throughout the rest of the house, and self check-in makes arrival easy and flexible. Make yourself at home! Other things to note This isn’t your typical rental — it’s a well-loved family home with heart, history, and a story to tell. Your hosts are retired schoolteachers who spent the last 20 years of their careers teaching in embassy schools around the world, and their travels are reflected throughout the house. You'll find unique treasures from across the globe, thoughtfully placed among old-world pieces that pay tribute to Vermont’s rich history. Together, they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels both personal and peaceful — a space that invites you to slow down, settle in, and truly feel at home.
