Our bright sunny home in a clean safe neighborhood is 5 minutes away from downtown Buda and 10 minutes on the scenic route to South Austin. We're a couple with a healthy lifestyle, super friendly dog and offer a clean, private bedroom and bath. Perfect access to Austin & the Hill Country for summer day trips or dinners out at the Salt Lick or any of the famously delicious Hill Country spots. South Austin hot spots are just 20 minutes away. We're happy to pass along recommendations! We're super careful about cleaning and disinfecting in regards to the Covid-19 virus. We have disinfectant wipes available for your use (and ours). Every surface has been cleaned with disinfectant cleaners. We take everyone's health seriously so as new information comes available, we'll match those protocols. Our Airbnb Space The private room is 200 sq ft and sleeps two adults comfortably (new queen sized bed) with closet with a 24-hour running HEPA filter in the bedroom cleans the air to protect you (and us). We have medical grade air filters in our home to keep the air clean and circulating. We use healthy, clean and safe cleaning products in our home (mostly, Method products). We offer Okeo Tex certified sheets, mattress pad and comforters and use scent-free detergent and dryer sheets. Recycling is available throughout the house and guest are encouraged to recycled. We're super careful about cleaning and disinfecting our space. We have disinfectant wipes available for your use (and ours). Every surface has been cleaned with disinfectant cleaners. We want everyone to be healthy and safe. Private full bath is adjacent to the bedroom and comes with Okeo Tex certified towels and popular brand shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and moisturizer. Always on WiFi provides broadband Internet for your mobile lifestyle. We’re cord cutters—we don’t have cable TV. We provide coffee and tea in the morning. You’re welcome to use the stove and microwave. If you’d like to buy and keep food during your visit, we have a refrigerator in the garage where you can keep everything you need to make your visit comfortable. Bedding, linens and towels are provided (changing them as needed). Private modern and super clean full bath with great water pressure in the shower. Kitchen privileges are included. Washer and Dryer available for a small fee. Iron and ironing board on request. We have a dog, Barbie, who is a mini-bull terrier (like the Target dog) and is chatty. She is friendly but we manage her access to guests. We do not allow the dog in the guestroom, however, if you are allergic to pets, please consider if this is an ideal situation for you. We've got a contemporary home with an open floor plan. You are welcome to eat at the breakfast bar (kitchen island) or at the dining room table. We love to eat outdoors on the patio and you're welcome to do the same-- or just sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. Enjoy the comfortable living room as well. Know that our dog Sunday, will more than likely join you on the sofa so don't be surprised when she does! Of course, the guest bedroom and bathroom are private to you but if you need anything there at all, just let us know. Extra large washer and dryer are available for a small fee to our guests. If you'd like to do laundry while you're staying with us, just let us know and we show you how the machines work. Iron and ironing board is available upon request. We work from home so we are in the house and available to answer questions or help with directions and the like during the day. We're early risers so we start our day with coffee and tea, pet breakfasts and dog walks. Guests are welcome to relax in our living room or back patio areas of our home. We offer guests access to a second refrigerator for food and beverage storage. Sorry, home office, master bedroom and bath, garage and gas grill are not available for guests. Knowing more about you helps us understand how to do that. A newer neighborhood in Buda with most of the homes built in the early 2000's, our neighborhood is known as friendly, safe and quiet. It has excellent access to freeways, shopping, entertainment and schools. Buda isn't very pedestrian friendly so a car is required (unless of course, you'd like to take an Uber or Lyft everywhere you go). Walking through the neighborhood for your morning constitutional is very pleasant and many of the neighbors are out walking or running in the morning. Mostly though, in Buda, a car is required. Central Texas offers beautiful experiences that include a variety of weather experiences! If you are coming during the winter months, know that the weather can be warm and in the 60's to downright cold with freezing temperatures in the 20's and 30's at times. Please check the weather and plan to dress in layers to best deal with the quick changing weather. An umbrella might a good idea too. Still, you should bring sunscreen and sunglasses as you'll need these items most times of the year. Plan on bringing a water bottle or drinking a lot of water during summer months which can be very hot and sometime humid.
