Whether you’re traveling out to enjoy the mild summers or are planning to partake in winter sports, vacationing here puts you in the best location to enjoy all that this area has to offer. Located not far from Buena Vista’s famous Elephant Rock and Midland Railroad Tunnels, the cabin is conveniently located to state park hiking/biking trails and is only a quarter of a mile away from access to the Arkansas River (for kayak-launching, fishing, and panning for gold). It’s a short drive into downtown Buena Vista, where you can enjoy shopping, amazing food, live entertainment, or fun at the downtown river park. When you get tired of being out and about, the cabin is a wonderful place to kick back and relax. Make a nice dinner and eat by a glowing fire in the river rock fireplace. Sit on the porch and feel the mountain sunshine. Relax in the upstairs loft, look for wildlife, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Collegiate Peaks. Get a good night’s sleep in one of the two comfortable bedrooms. After a hot shower the next morning, you’ll be ready to set out for new adventures!
