Located on 2,000 m² of native forest in the upper part of Teotitlán del Valle, we offer a 160 m² refuge that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. THE EXPERIENCE OF THE ENVIRONMENT To stay at Casa Montagnola, you should desire to coexist with the endemic flora and fauna of the Northern Sierra of Oaxaca. We are in the upper part of the village, a place of pure air and native vegetation. • Note on the Environment: Since the house is immersed in nature, we carry out periodic fumigation as a measure of care and maintenance. DISCOVER TEOTITLÁN DEL VALLE Teotitlán, recognized as the safest and cleanest village in the region, is the birthplace of the Zapotec culture. • On Foot: Walk to the famous Rug Market, where you can admire and purchase handmade rugs (tapetes), works of wool art dyed with vegetable pigments. • History and Architecture: Visit the Community Cultural Center and the historical jewel of the town: the Church of the Precious Blood of Christ (17th Century). This space is a local effort, lovingly created in collaboration with Felipe Neri, a resident of the community. Guest access You'll have exclusive access to the entire Casa Montagnola property, which includes its two interconnected buildings and the expansive 2,000 m² lot. KEY AMENITIES INCLUDED: • Bedrooms: Access to the two spacious sleeping areas, each with a double bed. One of these is the main loft, which features a large, comfortable dining area. Both spaces have cooling fans. • Work & Connection: The designated workspace table in the loft, which includes the stable WiFi modem on site. • Kitchen: Full use of the kitchen (stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and other accessories). • Bathrooms: Use of the two full bathrooms, both with guaranteed hot water year-round. A hairdryer is provided in the main bathroom. • Parking: Ample parking space for 3 to 4 cars inside the property. Note: The entire house features high ceilings, and the large windows always offer pleasant landscape views.
