The Barn, a newly renovated country cottage with a homely feel, sitting on the bank of The River Gowan. Located in the quaint and quiet village of Staveley in the heart of the Lake District. Each room has an integrated music system and smart TV including 65" 8K in the lounge to take advantage of, or chill with friends in your private bar and decorated courtyard. Towels and eco-friendly toiletries are provided. The space Unique in character with all new mod cons, there is no other space like the beautiful newly renovated Barn. A private space with incredible country views and charming bespoke furniture bringing the outdoors inside. Private Bar: Entering The Barn, you will be warmly welcomed into your very own bar area with comfy seating, beautiful glass wear and top of the range cocktail equipment. Private Courtyard: From the bar, you will be led outside into a private courtyard with an outdoor dining area overlooking the River Gowan. Perfect as an all-day suntrap or for evening drinks under the twinkling lights. Lounge- diner with large balcony: Upstairs on the 1st floor, embrace the large lounge-dining room which boasts a new top of the range 8k 65inch Samsung TV and super comfy L shaped sofa. Bring the outdoors inside whilst dining and enjoy our 1st floor balcony overlooking the river and hills of the Lake District; or for the cooler days, get cosy next to the open fire whilst watching complimentary Netflix or Disney+, which is available on all our TVs. Kitchen: In your open kitchen, you will have access to our top of the range appliances including a Smeg fridge, Swan Stealth microwave, kettle and toaster, Rangemaster stove, Bosche dishwasher, Samsung washing machine and Nespresso coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods, tea and sugar. The Snug: On the 3rd floor, you will find the snug area with warm and comfortable high end bean bag sofas and a smart Samsung TV. For additional guests, the sofas can be made into beds to allow the option of sleeping upto 8 guests. Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Take your choice of bedrooms; upstairs there is a king-size room with access to a large family bathroom across the hall. The family bathroom consists of a black Burlington toilet, walk-in waterfall shower, bespoke stone sink and bespoke freestanding, rolltop, black bath. Downstairs leads you to two ensuite rooms. At the front of the building a king-size room with a ceiling to floor window to fill the room with light. The ensuite consists of a large waterfall shower, bespoke stone sink and black Burlington toilet. At the rear of the property, you will find the super king-size bedroom with a riverside ensuite. The ensuite, built from local stone, hosts a large waterfall shower, black Burlington toilet and bespoke stone sink. Here, enjoy the sounds of nature and open the stable door which overlooks the river. The ground floor contains underfloor heating along with central heating in all rooms which is controlled by independent thermostats in each room. Integrated music: Enjoy your own music throughout The Barn by connecting to our integrated music system. You can choose to play your music throughout The Barn or have a different genre in each room, with multiple devices able to connect at the same time. Extras: All bedrooms have Samsung smart TVs equipped with Netflix, Disney+, Iplayer, ITV Hub, All4 and 5 on demand. All bathrooms include eco-friendly toiletries by Faith in Nature and beautiful Dusk towels. Note: The renovation of The Barn has been completed with sustainability being at the forefront of our minds. Using Eco-friendly, local products and completed by local tradesmen in the fight against climate change to save our beautiful nature in The Lake District.
