Farfar Chalet

We are a Hungarian - Danish couple, living at the edge of the lovely village called Budajenő, with a marvelous view over the Zsámbék-basin. We built the Chalet right next door to our home, in the exclusive residential park of Hilltop. Here you can experience the charm of the village life in a high-end setting. The space The design of the house reflects our Scandinavian roots, as we love lots of light and clean lines mixed with cozy items, so we can achieve the famous Danish "hygge " feeling. The house offers: - 2 bedrooms with king size beds ( 180x200 cm, suitable totally for 4 people) - 1 extra guest bed (size 90x200 cm, upon request, for a 5th guest) - 1 bathroom with toilet and shower - a spacious living - dining - fully equipped kitchen area with an authentic wood burning stove - huge covered terrace with a large outdoor dining set Guest access Our guests can use: - the entire house - huge garden area - the 20 m long pool ( in which you can actually and properly swim :) ) with a very spacious, partially covered terrace and also a "baby pool" just for sitting ( the pool is not heated, can be used in the summer season - unless you like to swim in really cold water :D ) - the 4 burner Weber gas grill - upon request infra sauna in the garden next door ( few steps away) - upon request and seasonally available, a Transylvanian-style hot tub heated by a wood-burning oven and filled with salty water awaits you just a few steps away, in the garden next door - you can park your 2 cars behind closed gates Other things to note As the house is in a residential area and we deeply respect our neighbor's peace, loud partying is strictly forbidden. The pool is a bio pool, the water does not contain any chemicals - therefore contains a healthy amount of algae- , due to this needs to be maintained and cleaned manually on a regular basis. Keeping your privacy in mind, we will take care of the pool while it’s not being used, and try to be invisible. The local tourism tax is included in the price. Registration Details MA22038710
