First, we love our unbeatable location. It's fun to be be steps away from world class tasting rooms, delicious eateries, shops and everything else Dundee has to offer. We really enjoy time outdoors, either on the upper deck, lower fire-pit deck, on our two outdoor sectional couches, where you can relax with early morning coffee or later afternoon snacks, wine, and/or cocktails. Later in the evening, we enjoy the fire-pit area, with a custom art piece, lit by the landscape lighting and beautiful flowers in planters, where we love to sit and enjoy the beautiful nights sky full of stars and clean air. Nothing is better than overlooking downtown as you sit back and relax with wine, food and music on the deck/s in a securely fence backyard. Some of our other favorite indoor amenities are; The custom light ring in the dinning room. It was custom made, inside the home, with 3 different dimmer switches so you can make the dining atmosphere exactly as you'd like it for the evening. Great lighting is a feature that should never be overlooked. Next, we have gone out of our way, to make every bed as comfortable as possible. We have medium firm comfortable mattress in every room. The Master has a king bed, our yellow room has a queen pillow-top bed and our white room has a queen. This way you can try to see what you like best. Each bed has their own comfortable bedding top and each bed it made with real cotton high-thread count sheets and warm goose down comforters to assure a great nights sleep. Also, new, in 2020 is a plush, enveloping sofa and love seat to keep you cozy by the fire on those cold nights. We've recently remodeled both the guest bathroom and the master bathroom. The guest bathroom is so comfortable with heated floors, soft comfortable bath towels (oversized) and we installed wonderful bright mirrors in the master bathroom. Both are vibrant, full of light and highly functional. Custom Oregon photography adorns the walls in the dining area. First there is; Sokol Blossers Red Barn, just down the road on Highway 99 and the other end of the dining room has an spectacular photo of sunset at Pacific City Beach with vibrant colors of Orange. The photographer is local to the Portland area and we make it a point to support locals artists, local wineries and local eateries. All our wine stemware is from local wineries, or local events, that we enjoyed and like to promote. 3 parking spots means you'll enjoy time in Dundee with friends and family without having to move cars or find parking. What a joy, to simply walk to Red Hills Market and not be frustrated with parking! We are less than 2 blocks to most tasting rooms, eateries and some shopping, in town and less than 10 minutes to about 40 more wineries! The nearest full service grocery store is in Newberg however that are a number of markets (including Red Hills Gourmet Market) that are just a few steps away that offer a variety of the basics and food options for picnicking. Finally, we hope you find time to explore all the nearby destinations that offer exciting fun things to do, in addition to wine tasting, such as all the live music that can be found in the Valley, plenty of outdoor events from Wednesday night Farmer's Markets to Friday Art Walks. Additionally the valley is a great place to feel like you finally got away from it all, enjoy; hot-air ballooning, vineyard hikes, truffle hunting, biking, horse-back riding, golf and wellness experiences. We hope you enjoy your Oregon Wine Country escape. Guest access Guests will be given a keyless entry code for access to the home. Two to three parking spots are available in the driveway and additional parking is available on the street. Wifi and Smart TV is available so you can use your Hulu or Netflix accounts. Other things to note Landscape lighting is on a timer. Everything turns on at dusk and remains on for up to 3 hours after dusk. Need to have a large eating area? We have an amazing space for that. Designed in modern farmhouse, with a wainscoting entrance, you'll love the custom designed lighting feature with 3 different dimmer switches and countless settings for perfect lighting for your event. Flowers (an amazing florist who can do anything) chilled wine, sparkling or something special from our own cellar? We are happy to get you chocolate or the perfect snacks.
