We are located one block off Mass Ave so you can walk to all restaurants, pubs, Old National Center(Murat), theater and shopping on Mass Ave and all of downtown Indy. 6 room B&B style Inn was built in 1896. We don't do doilies and our decor is modern and comfortable. Guest room has private bath, queen bed, flat screen TV with cable, desk, chair, light for reading, clock radio, air conditioning, heat, hair dryer, shampoo and soap amenity, towels, extra blanket and pillow as well as multiple outlet and charger for techies! Sometimes we are able to upgrade you to a king bed or suite....we are happy to do this when available. Breakfast is included as is wifi and parking. Owners have private quarters on property in separate carriage house. You have access to your guest room and all areas of the house: Library, 1 st floor parlor, dining room, 2nd floor common area includes: refrig, microwave, sink. Coffee service available outside all rooms in common area for morning coffee/hot tea in your room. Owners have separate living quarters. We offer self check in or I am glad to greet you upon check in. I am always available should you need anything. We like to be helpful but not intrusive. Interaction with other guests is up to you. We offer lots of privacy and an individualized experience. You can talk to your self or the person you came with and no one else......or you can talk to others staying at the Inn. One block from us are restaurants, pubs, bars, theater, shopping, a winery, several breweries, live music and entertainment. On our street is Henry's Coffee Bistro, Union 50 (Indy's hot new spot), Pizzology (wood fired pizzas), Mass Ave animal clinic and Mary's and Friends salon. We are a 20 minute walk to the center of the city and to the convention center, canal and 'the circle'. The neighborhood is very diverse and has residences as well as commercial properties. Mass Ave is described as 45 degrees from ordinary....that describes us perfectly! We are right by the #17 public bus, we sit on the pedestrian/bicycle path called The Cultural Trail that is 9 miles long and goes throughout downtown. Most of all downtown sites are available by cab for around $8. One block away is a bike sharing station. For 8$ you can use a bike for short trips all day long. If you want to rent bikes for a longer time period, BGI is at the City Market, short walk from the Inn. We have bike storage for you. You can easily park your car and not use it until check out! Electric car share service located right outside our door. We are also a Blue Indy electric car rental station so you can rent an electric car and explore downtown. We have a great front porch that is perfect for drinking coffee or wine and people and dog watching. Great restaurant across the street from us "Union 50". They have live music, small plates, outdoor patio and fire pit.
