Explore an area rich in history and outdoor activities: abundant hiking, fishing, canoeing, and jeep tours in the summer; amazing colors and hunting in the fall; backcountry/xc skiing and sledding in the winter. Play outside all day and curl up inside afterwards with a good book or movie. Pet friendly w/fee. Easy access on maintained roads (snow tires or AWD is recommended for Marble winters, though). Close to trails and lake. The space Our modern rustic rooms are clean and cozy! Rooms include new kitchenettes, sleek modern bathrooms, and TVs. Firepit available for outside chillin', as well as charcoal bbq for summertime dinners. Two minute walk to Beaver Lake for exceptional fishing and canoeing, and nestled at the foot of the Carbonate Creek Trail for national forest access. Guest access Fire pits, BBQ grills, hiking maps, phone, internet, library, canoe, life vests, and snowshoes. If needed during your stay we have hair dryers, an iron, and a first aid kit in the Great Room. Other things to note Here, porch-sitting and cloud-watching are among the heralded arts. Marble is a remote town with few amenities in the late fall and winter - no grocery stores or gas stations, one seasonal restaurant (open from May - end of October), and a coffee shop/cafe that is open for brunch. Especially in the winter BYOE (Bring your own everything) and be sure to save directions before you head out as your GPS will not work.
