Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in this beautifully restored Airstream. 10 minutes from rafting, hiking, biking and more in the amazing Columbia Gorge . Yes, you will be camping but that doesn't mean you have to settle for sleeping in tents. There’s heat, a bathroom, and a comfy mattress. The space Our vintage trailer sleeps 2. The trailer was created to provide you with amenities while staying true to the camping experience. The space is well-equipped with a King size memory foam mattress which is folded into a couch during the day. Most Common Questions: ✓ What’s the cooking situation? Our tiny kitchen area is minimal and includes a sink, french press for coffee, mini fridge, toaster oven and basic table settings. Plan to enjoy the many food offerings of the Gorge. ✓ Is there a bathroom? Yes! But it’s TINY. The shower is a tight operation and best suited for quick rinses. There is a pedal operated camper toilet but it’s important to know NO paper products, including toilet paper, are allowed into the vintage pipes. There’s a waste bin provided under the kitchen sink and any paper found in the pipes after a stay will result in a $300 fee. ✓ Is there running water? Absolutely, the shower and sink have hot water! However, it runs on propane which can run out. We have spare tanks on hand if this happens, just reach out. ✓ Is there electricity? Yes! We have outlets to plug in your cell phone however the system can't handle medical devices such as C-PAP machines. ✓ Is there WIFI? No! This is on purpose; we want you to disconnect and enjoy everything mother nature has to offer. However, cell service is available at the campsite. ✓ Is there heat? Yes! We have a space heater keeping you warm on chilly nights. However, it can get very cold in the winter so please pack accordingly. Refunds will NOT be issued because it’s cold out. We have no control over the weather and want to be upfront about this from the beginning. Check the weather and pack accordingly. Guest access You’ll drive past our house and park next to your Airstream. Other things to note ✓ This is an original, vintage Airstream from 1969. It’s super cool and a fun experience. But it’s also still vintage. There are occasional beauty marks that we think show the character of Joy. It is not a pristine, modern trailer from 2022. ✓ Dogs are allowed during your stay for an additional $20 fee per dog. We do ask that dogs do NOT get on the beds out of respect for other people's allergies. ✓ This is meant to be a glamping experience for you to enjoy mother nature and it's very important for us to be upfront about what you are going to experience as we do not want to be dinged in our reviews for things out of our control.
