There are lake bugs that do not bite but some weeks of the year, there are more of them than usual and can be bothersome to people. FISHING INFO Edible fish: Crappie, Bluegill, Shellcracker, Catfish, and Tilapia. Largemouth Bass are also edible, but considered sport fish, so usually voluntarily released.
