The French Country Condo is a renovated, second story, one+ bedroom apartment in Florence Colorado's central historic district. Guests will enjoy the seasonal decor, vintage touches of the hardwood floors, transoms, oversized windows, pocket door, and exposed brick from the original 1896 build, as well as the amenities & comforts like the plush bedding and full eat-in kitchen. Located just one block off main street, it's the perfect walking distance to Florence's antique shops & eateries. The space The space is the second floor of a mixed commercial/residential building, and includes a one bathroom, a large hallway/foyer space, one large room with open-concept master bedroom (with king bed and room dividing curtains), living room and kitchen, and a second, smaller bedroom with a day bed and twin sized air mattress available to put up in the living room of the unit. Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire second floor of the building, as well as the balcony attached to it. They will also have shared access to the courtyard, the washer and dryer, and guest feeezer on the first floor. Other things to note For those guests staying longer to enjoy more of what Southern Colorado has to offer, you'll find our location to be a great home-base for day-trip adventures like hiking and sightseeing near Westcliffe, CO, rafting the Arkansas river and exploring the Royal Gorge near Canon City, CO, or spending a day in Garden of the Gods and riding up Pike's Peak in Colorado Springs. NOTE: This is an UPPER unit, and there are stairs (wide with two wooden handrails) leading up to the front door of the building, and into the French Country Condo.
