Lakeside Farm Retreat

Quaint mobile home with remodeled interior on 270 acre family farm. This property stretches the length of a 20 acre private lake(we own the side the rental site) boasting great fishing and swimming opportunities, kayaks for use with your rental, and amazing star gazing away from the city lights! So, whether you are looking to escape the bustle of everyday life or you're just passing though, let our rustic farm help you disconnect and relax! Not the Hilton, but has character. The space This peaceful home offers ample privacy located at the end of a mile-long, drive through our farm. This is a farm in rural Virginia. If you arrive after dark, the driveway doesn't have lights. Standard height cars or suv/truck are recommended. It has two bedrooms and one full bath. The master hosts a queen size bed and view of the lake. The second bedroom has two twin beds. We also have full and twin air mattresses for use by guests. *****Due to recent storm damage the docks are currently not available for use. As of 5/15/22. We are working to fix this asap. ***** 3/2/24 plans are in place to start a new dock this spring. Amazingly, you will also only be minutes from local attractions, such as Hampden-Sydney College and Longwood University in Farmville. Visit The Fish n' Pig nearby for some amazing barbeque; or, venture into town for Main street attractions like Greenfront Furniture, The Virginia Tasting Cellar, 3rd Street Brewery, North Street Press Club & High Bridge State Park. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the mobile home. This is a large, family owned farm; so, we are often on site, and sometimes enjoy use of the lake. Our property stretches the entire length of one side of the lake. We do our best to support your getaway and privacy. Other things to note Guests have shared that cell service may be spotty depending on your carrier. We use Verizon and are able to stream TV through use of our cell Hotspot with the level of service available. We have no issues with calls or texts. Some T-mobile and Cricket users stated they had minimal service.
