Our architect designed lodges have an open plan living room and kitchen, opening onto a spacious balcony with panoramic views across the water to the Island of Bute. Stunning beaches, walks, wildlife, sailing and kayaking all on our doorstep. The space Carry Farm is a 66 acre coastal small holding that has diversified by providing private holiday homes by the shore. There is access to our beach with a coastal walk around our point. Children love the open space and the rustic play park. A small flock of Hebridean sheep, two donkeys called Barney and Louis, pygmy goats Pablo and Gus and some free range hens also all live at Carry Farm. The beach is a 2 minute walk from the lodge. Sandpiper lodge sleeps 6 in very comfortable accommodation. Wooden floors and wool rugs throughout are both warm and practical. The double bedroom has an excellent quality mattress and bed linen and the twin and bunk rooms provides comfortable additional full size beds. Original artwork on the walls, tasteful decor along with locally designed furniture, all help to make your stay in Sandpiper particularly pleasant. Carry Farm also has the Hayshed Gallery and Argyll Coffee Roaster speciality coffee shop on site. Both are open 7 days a week during the busy season. The Gallery exhibits textiles made by Fiona from her Hebridean sheep's fleece, alongside ceramics made by her sister Karen, and printed textiles by Eve, Fiona's niece.
