You can also ride UTVs and Dirt-bikes right out of the house to thousands of acres of trails if that’s your thing. Truly experience "Desert Living" but not sacrifice being close enough to DownTown Joshua Tree, then this is the place for you. My wife and I spent 1.5 yrs renovating and updating the property for your convenience, and yours as well. Our home is Private, Private, Private you literally will have the most peaceful experience you can imagine. We have installed a near 1/2 acre Modern fence around the property. Once you enter the privacy fence of the JTOUTPOST The main house is very spacious featuring two very large bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. We chose to go with what we are calling "Desert Modern". Every amenity you could ask for is available. The home offers Heat and Air Conditioning in every room including the bedrooms as of August 2024 (most desert homes only offer swamp coolers which in the Summer do not cool the home adequately). Additionally, we have very strong WIFI ( which again is rare in our area) which allows you to stream Netflix or Hulu on our Smart 55" flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully functional and provides excellent views into Joshua Tree and the surrounding mountain ranges. We also offer you the world famous Joshua Tree Coffee for your convenience. Wait until you step into the "Concrete Room" we promise you have not experienced a room like this before. Snuggle up to the very hot wood burning stove to read a book and look out the wall of windows to the majesty and beauty of Joshua Tree. Or get the whole gang together at the Concrete Table that seats 8 and take in the views as well. The Casita: The Casita is located right next to the main home separated by a breeze way. We have continued our "Desert Modern" theme in here as well. You will find two pull out sofas in the Casita as well as a full bathroom and also the washer and dryer. Enter into the Game Room area of the Casita and enjoy the pool table and the retro hanging chairs. There is also a bar area for everyone to hang out in. This is a pretty cool area for the kids to have their own space or for larger groups to hang out. Moving outside: We have attempted to have really cool features outside like our Wood Burning Stove area, that will allow you to hang outside during those cold desert evenings but have a massive wood burning stove keeping you warm. Or if you wish to do a bonfire night move down into the yard to our fire pit area and keep warm around the camp fire. We positioned the brand new (may 2024) Spa in an area for maximum protection of any chilly breezes that might come up at night while at the same time giving you amazing views of the night sky and stars and the Joshua Tree basin and surrounding mountains. We just completed building a brand new (may 2024) Cowboy Pool with filter and pump to keep the water super clean.. The JTOUTPOST is a large area that can accommodate big groups but we are not looking to rent this out as a "Party House", therefore we do limit the renters to over 25 yrs of age. Guest access You have access to the entire property, no one else will be there. House Rules: - No cats - No Smoking inside or outside - No parties or events - Check in time is 3pm - 2am (next day) - Check out time is 11am - Self check in with Key Pad - Self check out with Key Pad Other things to note The house is literally about 8 minutes north of downtown Joshua Tree. But when you are at the house it feels like you are the only person around.
