Layout: First level entry has kitchen, living room, back deck with hot tub, bedroom with queen bed and full bath. Upstairs open loft area divided by full wall with king bed, queen bed, and double bed. The only source of heat is a wood stove (wood provided) and there are space heaters. Neighborhood: The Heron's Perch house is about one mile south of Pacific City just off of Brooten Road on Sutton Way. This house sits in the trees on scenic Brooten mountain and is one of the last homes on a quiet, privately maintained road. The house was designed to showcase the estuary where the Nestucca River meets the ocean. The drive to the nearest beach is about 1.5 miles and about 2 miles to Cape Kiwanda/Pelican Pub area. The Nestucca River boat access is less than a mile. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night. Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended. Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms. The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation. Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).
