The Random Cabin (On Random Lake)

In the small inviting village of Random Lake sits a small but mighty house. 2 bedrooms, beautiful kitchen, tree fort style loft, 2nd living/kid room w/ arcade & pinball. Everything you could want. Fish off the pier or use our kayaks to explore the lake. Ride our bikes around town & then cuddle up in front of the fireplace. The village beach is only a few blocks away, so is the bustling downtown. Memories await The space The Random Cabin consists of one original cottages on Random Lake. It was moved to its current location from the point of the lake, and at least two additions were added. The additions were parts of buildings or warming shack‘s from the ice harvesting business that took place on Random Lake from the 1870’s to 1940’s. When refrigeration put ice harvesting out of business parts of the buildings were reclaimed and added on to our cute cozy cottage. It’s only a two bedroom but once inside it’s space will surprise you, it has a rustic 2nd living room that is also a kids room. In there is a vintage pinball machine and a motorcycle racing game as well as a futon bed and huge TV. The loft is like a tree fort with a cozy chair and a pillow cover futon. It’s perched above the kitchen, which is updated with tons of cabinet space and quartz countertops. The kitchen is also well stocked with a Kuerig, plenty of pots/pans/cooking utensils, blender, toaster, and spices. Because of the quirks of being multiple buildings put together the interior design it’s very eclectic and striking. Sit on the pier or cuddle up in front of the fireplace, ride bicycles around town or explore the areas parks. Use our kayaks to explore the first major lake north of Milwaukee. Close to the Kettle Moraine, Lions Den park, Amsterdam Beach, Hurias Lake Natural Area, Elkhart Lake, Kohler, Whistling Straits, Black Wolf Run, and tons more. Perfect spot for NFL Draft, Lambeau Field, Road America Races, PGA golf events and Wisconsin Fun! Guest access The cabin is right in the middle of town just blocks away from we’re most everything is in Random Lake. Eat dinner at the Random Lake Pizzeria or go bowling at Globe Lanes. Definitely check out Burmesch variety store. Driveway for two cars and on street parking in summer.
