Nature Fix, Secluded Cabin

Nature enthusiasts will love this rustic two story cabin located on a hilltop on 30 private acres of forest and meadow. Off the grid (see other details), solar power for lighting, generator available. Rain water is captured for the outdoor shower. Top floor has 1 full bed and 2 twin beds. Pullout sofa queen bed on first floor in front of fireplace. Cute little outhouse for use when nature calls. Nearby: Burt Lake, North Country Trail, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinaw City. The space Cooking equipment, dishes and silverware are provided. 10 gallons of artesian well water is provided for drinking/cooking. Rainwater is collected in a cistern and is available for outdoor shower and flushing the toilet. Cabin has 36 foot covered porch for outdoor relaxing and dining. Plenty of parking space for trailers in the 10 acre field. Guests have access to all of the 30 acres that the cabin sits on. Guests are welcome to use personal firearms for target practice on the property, although hunting is not allowed as my property is a nature preserve. There are plenty of trails in the woods for hiking. Pets are welcome. Dogs can not be left alone inside cabin. Property not suitable for children 12 y/o or younger. No smoking allowed indoors or outdoors. No wifi is available and cell phone reception is spotty. You will need to bring: cooler and ice, bikes/boats/sporting equipment, bedding or sleeping bags, towels. All wheel drive recommended. Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the entire 30 acres which includes a 10 acre meadow and 20 acres of rolling hardwoods. Other things to note Nights in northern Michigan can be a bit chilly, any time of the summer so bring some warm clothes just in case . The fireplace or woodstove is here to use for your comfort. Firewood is provided. Electricity limited to solar and generator.
