Our duplex is close to restaurants and family-friendly activities. We are located 4 blocks from downtown and one mile from George Fox University. You’ll love our location because of the proximity to parks, downtown Portland, and the coast. Our little home has all you'll need for a great stay: comfortable beds (King-size Helix mattress and Queen-size mattress), kitchen and laundry facilities, local air TV, and Wi-Fi. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). We have a full kitchen stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and basic spices etc. for cooking. A coffee pot along with coffee and tea supplies are also available in the kitchen. We have a notebook with local restaurants and menus as well as major nearby attractions. A large map is on the wall with popular destinations marked so you can get an overall view of the area and all it has to offer. We do not live on-site from September-May. We live in the unit in the summer and rent it out during the rest of the year. Our on-site hostess lives in the unit next door. You will have full access to the unit and all it contains plus access to the outside patio and front and side yards. We have room for parking 2 vehicles. Our duplex is set up for self-check in and will be clean and ready for occupancy upon check-in, but should you have a problem or need anything, contact me through text or phone call. Contact information will be given before you arrive. Our duplex is located in a quiet part of town. We are close to the Willamette River and Champoeg State Park. If you are a jogger or walker, the area is extremely safe and well-located for scenic runs/walks. If you have children there is a park one and a half blocks from our duplex with play equipment and lots of room for them to run. We are located 4 blocks from Highway 99 West, the main route to and from the coast and close to the main freeways to Portland. Newberg does not have a Maxx station, the closest station is Tualatin Central Transfer station, a 20 minute drive.
